On September 11, 2020 at 13:00, TASS will host a press conference dedicated to the Russian program of World Patient Safety Day, which is celebrated on September 17. The event is organized by Roszdravnadzor, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the World Health Organization.
Alla Samoilova, head of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare, Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare, will talk about measures aimed at reducing harm to patients in Russia and around the world, international solidarity in this area, as well as the events planned in the Russian Federation within the framework of World Patient Safety Day. Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Tatyana Semyonova, Coordinator of Noncommunicable Diseases of the WHO Office in the Russian Federation Elena Yurasova, Director General of the National Institute of Quality of Roszdravnadzor Igor Ivanov, President of the Russian Association of Nurses Valentina Sarkisova, Chief Physician of the Republican Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafael Shavaliev and Co-Chairman of the All-Russian Union of Public Associations of Patients Yuri Zhulev.
