Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on accelerated registration of digital platforms in healthcare
Registration of software and the latest technologies in the field of medicine will take place in a simplified manner. The decree on this was signed by the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
We are talking about digital programs that are used to help doctors diagnose cancer, plan surgical techniques, monitor the health status of elderly patients with chronic diseases, and rehabilitate patients.
Now such digital products will go through the state registration procedure in one stage. This will accelerate the launch of innovative developments in the healthcare sector to the market, increase the efficiency, availability and quality of medical care to citizens.
The issue was discussed at a meeting of the Presidium of the Coordination Council under the Government to combat the spread of coronavirus infection on November 23. According to Mikhail Mishustin, a one-stage procedure for registering software products for medical devices will allow the latest developments in medical practice to be quickly applied.
The signed document amended the Government Decree of December 27, 2012 No. 1416.
